Verifying local content shows everything verifies ok.Ĭlicking Play gives the same error that you got 'An error has occurred while updating Garry's Mod (corrupt content files)' I've tried the true and trusted method of deleting everything except SteamApps and Steam.exe, but that didn't fix it. The download bar at the bottom of the screen shows 0 of 1 items completed and is flashing between nothing and full every 1/2 second.
